Website: www.sdsuengineers.com

If you are a student at SDSU and would like to know more about the chapter's activities and opportunities in the local industry, please contact the AGC/CMAA student chapter via their website to receive their weekly newsletter.

The AGC/CMAA student chapter organizes the SDSU ASC ("Reno") teams with the support of AGC San Diego and its members. This activity is managed by our students. In 2017, the chapter took five teams to the ASC Regions 6 & 7 competition, and the students were coached by five different companies: Commercial (Clark Construction), Electrical (Bergelectric), Heavy Civil (Flatiron), Preconstruction (Swinerton), and Virtual Design and Construction (Balfour Beatty). The electrical team took 3rd place in their category in 2017.

2017 ASC Competition - Electrical Team coached by Bergelectric: Alex Sherman, Leban Ali, Pierre Tumpach, Mikayla Gonzalez (captain), Hannah Garrett, and Ismael Delgado.

Our student chapter received two national awards from CMAA in 2012: CMAA 2012 Student Chapter of the Year and 2012 Educator of the Year (Advisor).

Kevin Hokanson receives the 2012 CMAA Student Chapter of the Year Award at CMAA National Conference in Chicago (Oct. 2012).
